A little bit about me…

Hi there!  I’m Tammie, and this is my very handsome, and oh-so-handy husband, Mark.

I grew up in a rural town and loved it so much that I moved back for 10 years to raise my children there.  So far, in nearly 30 years of marriage, we’ve moved 18 times.  I’ve learned a lot from so many moves.  Like, never say “never” because you just don’t know what opportunities life is going to bring.

I always have loved writing, reading and learning, so it really came as no surprise to find myself going to school to get my teaching degree.  I spent 13 years as an English teacher and now I’m a school librarian.  I absolutely love every minute of it.

I am married to a wonderful, supportive and hardworking man and together we have five kids.  Three gorgeous daughters and twin boys.  Our family is growing so quickly!  In the past few years, we’ve added a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grandbabies!

It’s just my little life, but I think it’s beautiful!
